Agreement and order-specific terms
By using this website, you agree to these website terms. If you request a quote or place an order, additional terms may appear in the quote, checkout, invoice or order confirmation. Where an order-specific written term conflicts with this general page, the order-specific term governs that transaction.
Product information and specifications
We aim to describe products accurately. Dimensions, weights, drawings, renderings, photographs and finish examples are provided for planning and may be updated as products develop. Final specifications for an order are those confirmed in the applicable order documents.
Do not rely on a website image or general page as a substitute for the final product drawings, installation information or appliance instructions supplied for your selected configuration.
Quotes, prices, taxes and orders
Prices shown online may apply only to the stated configuration and may exclude delivery, installation, site work, optional finishes, appliances, taxes or other items unless expressly stated otherwise.
An order may be subject to product availability, production capacity, delivery feasibility and confirmation of information reasonably required to manufacture and deliver the product. Any deposit, progress payment or balance due date will be shown before the customer is committed to those payment terms.
Natural stone and finish variation
Natural stone is not a uniform manufactured surface. Colour, texture, veining, mineral markings, thickness, shape and pattern will vary. Mortar, coping and other finish materials can also display normal production and batch variation.
Samples, photographs and renderings are therefore representative rather than guarantees of an exact visual match, unless a particular selection has been expressly agreed in writing.
Order changes, cancellations and returns
Many ModuStone products involve fabrication, masonry work, finish selection or project-specific preparation. The ability to change or cancel an order depends on how far production has progressed and whether materials or work have already been committed to that order.
Any cancellation, change, return or refund eligibility will be governed by the terms shown in the applicable quote, checkout or order confirmation. Customers should contact ModuStone as soon as possible if a project changes.
Delivery, freight and site access
Large masonry products require appropriate transportation, access and unloading. Delivery pricing and feasibility can depend on the unit, destination, road access, site conditions, lifting equipment and the distance from the unloading position to the prepared base.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the site and for disclosing known access constraints, including narrow entrances, grades, soft ground, overhead wires, gates, restricted roads or other conditions that can affect delivery.
If site conditions differ materially from the information provided, additional equipment, labour, rescheduling or charges may be required. The applicable order documents should identify who is responsible for unloading and placement.
Site preparation and installation
Unless specifically included in a written scope of work, the customer is responsible for arranging an appropriate foundation or base, permits, clearances, utility services, appliance connections and any other site-specific work required before or after delivery.
Installation must follow the information supplied for the product and any applicable local building, fire, gas, electrical or other requirements. Work that requires a licensed or qualified trade must be completed by an appropriately qualified person.
Damage, defects and warranty
Warranty and claim terms should be clear before purchase. Product-specific warranty coverage is stated in the applicable written warranty or order documentation.
Customers should inspect delivered products as reasonably possible and report visible freight damage or material concerns promptly. Photographs and delivery documentation may be required to assess a claim.
Any product-specific warranty, exclusions, claim procedure or remedy will be stated in the written warranty or order documentation applicable to that product. Normal natural-stone variation, expected weathering and issues caused by improper foundations, installation, modification, misuse or work by others may be treated differently from a manufacturing defect.
